Remembering to share
Every year we pause on our journey to remember and reflect,
to remember the story about remembering the stories
– their story, his stories and our story.
To reflect on how something totally, utterly, wonderful
emerges from the depths of despair,
how rebellion becomes resurrection.
If we do not pause and reflect
then our journey stalls.
Only by reflecting again and again
do we uncover the strands of the story,
strands which lead us deeper
into understanding the message at the heart of this story.
It is a story of colour,
all the colours of creation woven into a glorious love song:
relationship, friendship, compassion, frustration,
confusion, anger, loss and love.
What colours do you see,
which strand will you follow,
where does it lead you
and what will you share on your journey into the heart of love?
We remember in order to share.
