A Prayer of adoration
God of mountains and mustard seed, skylarks and cattle;
We give you thanks for all that you have made.
As we look at your world in all its beauty and diversity
we are reminded of your creative hand that brings all things into being.
Jesus story teller and teacher, friend of the unloved
and challenger of the faithful.
As we listen to your stories we are challenged
afresh to see you in the faces of our neighbours.
Spirit of God who brooded over the waters of creation,
who breathed new life into the first disciples.
As we think about our communities
we are called to see the promise and potential of your presence.
Loving God… we give you our thanks and praise.
