1.
On the Sea of Galilee
Can you picture you and me?
Apprehension can arise
In a storm can we survive?

Chorus:
Jesus is God’s presence here;
In his teachings we can hear
Love to calm engulfing fear,
Letting courage reappear.

2.
Tossed about by raging life;
Conflict, struggle in the strife;
In our little boat we hope
We will find the strength to cope.

Chorus:
Jesus is God’s presence here;
In his teachings we can hear
Love to calm engulfing fear,
Letting courage reappear.

3.
He can come on stormy wave;
Comes to us as he who gave
Living power to withstand;
Reaches out to hold our hand.

Chorus:
Jesus is God’s presence here;
Love shall conquer what we fear;
Jesus wants us all to hear –
‘You are loved. You are so dear.’
