Teach us your way
and we will follow it faithfully.
Encourage us to serve you with all our heart.
With all that is within us, we will praise you
and everywhere we will speak of your goodness.
How can we measure your love?
You have restored our lives.
Still, there are those who seek only to make mischief
and have regard only for themselves.
But you are loving and merciful;
patient, gentle and loyal without fail.
So look upon us and be generous towards our faults;
lift us up and make us strong,
for we would serve you completely.
Make plain your goodness towards us,
for you have helped and comforted us.
