For one or two voices

Happy are those who spurn advice
from the wicked
and turn aside from the path that leads to their door;
who refuse a seat with the scoffers.

Happy are those who delight in God’s will
and dwell upon it day and night.
They are like trees planted by the waterside
whose leaves never fade
and whose fruit never fails.

God watches over them
and vindicates them.
